Fill the seeder from the classic seed triggers
* To fill the seeder with fertilizer, you must have opened the fertilizer bin lid first or else an alarm message will warn you.
Fill the fertilizer bin from:
1. the classic fertilizer trigger
2. a mapFruitTrigger with the fertilizer fruit of course
3. a trailer with fertilizer in it
This is a re-skin of the awesome JD Aircart and Seeder pack (by Knagsted and edited by Tubman) into a New Holland aircart seeder combo. The John Deere is very similar in appearance to the new units by New Holland here in the USA so I chose this mod for this re-skin.
Some have had some issues using the John Deere, but I have had no issues at all when using the John Deere or my New Holland re-skin on any of my farms.
I agree with the original modder’s recommendations to fill the front tank with fertilizer because then this planter is a true one-pass unit. An unexpected bonus I discovered when using this unit is that the seeder unit actually cultivates the ground just in front of the seeding section (this works even if the
field you are trying to seed already has a crop there, such as wheat) so that this unit actually functions as a real one does, a no-till planter which also stays within the boundaries of the field like a safe-mode cultivator. I have tested this several times myself, and this unit will cultivate, seed and fertilize all in one pass without messing up areas outside of your field. You will, however, need to pull the seeder past the edge of the field before stopping or you will have an area of cultivated ground in front of your seeded area.
The procedure which works every time for me to fill this unit is: get ANY grain trailer I want, such as the Dangerville, a game default, or even a ULW trailer, fill this trailer with the seed I want to plant from a silo on my farm, get the aircart (you do not have to have the seeder attached to the aircart in order to fill it) and drive it next to the trailer, press O to open the lids, press K once to move the auger to the rear tank, the little fill symbol will appear when you are beside the trailer, press J to start the auger and fill up the rear tank and J again to stop the auger when finished, then pull the aircart to any fertilizer trigger on your map, press K again to move the auger to the front tank, press J again to fill the front tank with fertilizer, press K three more times to fold auger back up, then go get the seeder and attach it to the
aircart and go plant!
When you are finished, if you want to plant something different, park the aircart next to an empty trailer,
press K three times to place the auger under the rear tank and press J to unload it into your trailer. When ready to plant again, repeat above steps to fill with the new type of seed. If you don’t want to fertilize as you plant, then just fill the front tank with seed as well as the rear tank.
The original mod info states that this unit is single player only, so I never tried to use it in MP and I would guess that it would not work well in MP, however I do not know for sure.
I edited the unit to seed certain row-crops like maize and corn since some farmers in the USA are actually using this seeder to do this when the accuracy of seed placement is not quite as important. They have reported good yields by doing this so I thought, “why not do this also in the FS world as well”

N lowers/raises seed drills (must be lowered to actually plant anything)
Keypad 0 turns off auto markers (important if you don’t want the markers plowing up areas outside your field)
L raises seeder wings (press and hold till completely raised)
U lowers seeder wings (press and hold till completely lowered)
Note: the seeder unit spawns at the store unfolded, and will be unfolded each time you begin a game – so keep this in mind when storing the seeder unit in a shed with other equipment.

I’ve added a telescopic rear hitch that will allow you to connect two seeders to the aircart. I also added a rear hitch to the seeder so you can transport the cart and both seeders to the field with one tractor. This idea and rear crane assembly is from “Levi the Goat”‘s “RAI Big Farm Seeder” just implemented on a bit smaller scale…

1) aiLeftMarker and aiRightMarker are set by the width of the rear hitch…So if you are using a single seeder but have the rear hitch extended and hire a driver it will leave a strip of unseeded ground for each pass. Make sure you have the rear hitch fully retracted when using a single seeder and using a hired driver.
2) Sometimes when a hired driver finishes, they don’t seem to be able to figure it out and will just keep driving around in circles. It only happened twice while testing so not sure how big a deal it is…
3) Automatic Markers have been turned off by default…Can still be enabled with Key KP_0

I present a large surface seeder with a complete new Amazone washable skin.It supports all major fruits with a 6000 litre seed tank capacity.It goes well with all tractors but is unbeatable behind an articulated tractor as it dont leave any empty spots on headlands in helper mode which saves a lot of time on large farms.I hope u all enjoy this.
